Terms of Service
As a subscriber to
the Alliance for Conflict Transformation (ACT) Announcement Forums, you
are entitled access to all of the ACT Announcement Forums, email
postings and appropriate archives during your subscription period.
ACT makes no guarantees on the number of postings in
each forum each week. In general, on higher traffic Announcement Forums
such as conflictjobs postings will average 10-20 per week, on lower
traffic Announcement Forums postings will average 0-5 per week.
As a subscriber to the ACT
Announcement Forums, you are aware of and agree to the following Terms
of Service:
- The ACT Announcement
Forums service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any
kind, express or implied. You assume all risks related to your use of
our service. In no event will we be liable to you or any other person
for any damages resulting from use or misuse of our information.
- Subscription fees to
the ACT Announcement Forums are unrefundable.
- All materials on the
Alliance for Conflict Transformation and forum website are protected by
US copyright Law and may not be used, transmitted or reprinted without
the express permission of ACT.
- ACT assumes no
responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of postings and archival
information in the Announcement Forums.
- ACT may terminate a
user’s subscription at any time if a user sends inappropriate and/or
offensive announcements to the Regional Forums and/or abuses his/her
subscription privileges. Inappropriate and/or offensive announcements
may
include, but are not limited to: racist or discriminatory comments,
obscene or
sexually explicit language, or off-topic announcements unrelated
to conflict resolution
issues.
- Any disputes arising
between a subscriber and ACT Inc. will be settled through a mediator
agreeable to both parties. In the event that the dispute cannot be
resolved through mediation, then ACT will select an arbitrator to help
resolve the dispute.
All subscriber information
collected by ACT for the Announcement Forums site is for internal use
