SSPC is an independent, non-profit research organization based in New Delhi, dedicated to research on issues relating to peace, conflict and human development.
- Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict and Violence (Peace Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association, Division 48) was created to increase and apply psychological knowledge in the pursuit of peace, defined as the absence of war and the creation of positive social conditions which minimize destructive conflicts and promote human well-being.

- Translations for Progress is an on-line database that links language students interested in volunteering with NGOs that don't have the budget to accommodate professional translators. This free service aims to increase communication within the international grass-roots movement and help today's students become active in development issues early on.
- Trauma Healing and Reconciliation Services THARS is pioneering a new path to peace by providing resources for trauma healing and reconciliation in war-torn Burundi and the African Great Lakes Region. THARS provides counseling, training, listening centers and shelter houses where people find their healing.
- USAID Conflict is a USAID-hosted resource for organizations and individuals involved in conflict prevention, mitigation, and management; humanitarian assistance; conflict resolution, recovery, and post-conflict reconstruction.
- United Nations & Global Security Project: After the war in Iraq, the UN Secretary General appointed a High-Level Panel to find ways the world can address threats to international security. - WorldTeach is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides opportunities for individuals to make a meaningful contribution to international education by living and working as volunteer teachers in developing countries. WorldTeach has both year-long and summer programs. Year-long volunteers teach English and other subjects in Bangladesh, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Marshall Islands, Namibia, and Pohnpei.
