How ACT Can Help You

ACT applies its members' combined experience and expertise to conflict analysis, program design, training, interventions, and assessment. Our innovative programs are grounded in multi-disciplinary applied research and theory and reflect cutting-edge knowledge and practical experience. ACT member-consultants have conducted conflict resolution interventions and research in more than 23 countries and trained over 3,500 adults and youth in conflict transformation skills and processes.

Every conflict is different, which is why we will not offer you an off-the-rack project plans. ACT offers a variety of services, which are combined to create a customized resolution plan to meet your specific needs. These services include

  • Assessing and analyzing complex conflict situations and providing consultation on project design.
  • Designing conflict resolution systems for non-governmental organizations, local governments, schools, and businesses.
  • Developing curricula and training materials for introductory and advanced seminars and workshops.
  • Training in conflict transformation, intercultural relations, and violence prevention.
  • Mediating interpersonal, organizational, community, and international conflicts.
  • Facilitating dialogues and problem solving processes in schools, organizations, and communities.
  • Researching and evaluating conflict resolution initiatives within local and international communities.
